Bethany Medical is an established Independent Multi-Specialty Practice located in Greensboro, High Point, Winston Salem, Jamestown, Kernersville, North Wilkesboro, and Mt. Airy is seeking an Echocardiogram Technologist to join our Team!

The Selected Full-Time Echocardiogram Technologist will:
  • Perform ultrasonic examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the Provider.
  • Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in applying ultrasound techniques for radiologic diagnosis.
  • Responsible for the safety and comfort of all patients undergoing ultrasound procedures.
  • Ensures that all procedures have been appropriately ordered with satisfaction patient identification obtained prior to conducting procedure.
  • Performs all procedures according to departmental protocol.
  • Will need to work independently.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Dedicated to serving Bethany Medical’s patients with a professional and respectful demeanor.
  • Perform echocardiography, doppler and color flow on patients.
  • Assist the physician in cardiac echo stress testing.
  • Maintain the GE equipment necessary for all echo testing.
  • Order supplies needed for his/her area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • This is a Full Time Float position working in the Triad North Carolina area
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Associates degree in Echocardiography or a related field
  • ARRT, ARDMS and/or CCI Registration or registry available 
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification preferred.
  • Current BLS required, ACLS preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient clinical setting performing ultrasound strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse patient population.
  • Professional aptitude, presentation and demeanor.
